King Kill 33: The Story of Adam Parfry

Shelley Crowell: I knew Adam Parfry for quite a while until he got really sick with the diabetes and it ended up killing him. And so, yeah, that's kind of the basis of how he became popular in that countercultural circle around Parfry,. which was pretty strong in the late 80s and early 90s. So parts of King kill 33 went into apocalypse culture. But yes, that expanded my horizons tremendously. The first edition of that I recommend, I don't think the second edition, it's expanded. It didn't grab me the way the first one did.
