map theory would predict then that you would get a better performance in the intrinsically motivated case than the extrinsically motivated case right so that's fine. In fact there are a number of experiments that show that that thing often does happen although it's not completely universal and it'sYeah there's a little bit of muddying of waters here and there but largely there's a fair amount of evidence to show that that tends to happen people tend to have the extrinsic motivators occlude their intrinsic motivation which reduces their performance on the task.
