The Unlocking of a House in Burton Township, Ohio
Daniel Ott and Marianne Ricker were sleeping on an air mattress in the living room of their home. A man wearing a mask and brandishing a sawed off shotgun has broken into their home. The gunman reportedly binds and gags Daniel by tying his wrist together with duct tape. In an effort to protect Marianne, he bravely puts up a fight with the armed intruder. He grabs an object, it's possibly a lamp and tries to hit the intruder, but remember their house is basically empty. At point, blank range and the shooter then flees the scene in a car waiting outside.
