I think it's always helpful to have somebody in the workplace who's opinion you trust. You do need people at your level that you can bounce ideas off and just sense check how you're feeling. Having a peer group network when you're a junior is invaluable. I was so frightened to ask people because I thought I'd look completely stupid about what I should do. But actually, yeah, having a group of friends who you can pick up the phone to and go, you know, can I just run this by you? It's invaluable.
