In this particular project, we were using DBT to perform like transformations where we already have the data in BigQuery. So accordingly we kind of run the DBT command with some parameters which would trigger a specific flow. The pattern here is DBT is mainly used for transformation, right as well and transform created job and then we kind of like use other services on the cloud platform, listen to any triggers.

One of the most impactful technologies for data analytics in recent years has been dbt. It’s hard to have a conversation about data engineering or analysis without mentioning it.
