Better touch tool is an app that allows you to turn caps lock into a shift command control option. The guy behind better touch tool went full time on that recently and he was able to do that. There's actually a new app called Menuware which takes your top left menu, your app menu, and your app menu bar and it just puts it wherever your mouse is.
