Grieving the Death of a Miscarried Child
i want to argue that we invest our practical identities in other people. We have relations with them in which our practical identities are invested. So of course, you 're going to grieve the death of someone like nelson mandella or david bowe differently from the grief that you would feel at the death your sister or a long term friend. i also think that my position, you know, makes sense of certain kinds of grief that maybe fly under the radar.
