The Dream Bigger Podcast
The Importance of Normal Life in the United States
When I was 13 years old, it was the first time that I remember seeing American television. We had nothing outside. It's snowing. It's so cold. People are not even able to walk on a shoot is that cold inside. And here I am, 13 hungry, wearing my clothes in our house because it's that cold outside. So when I saw people in this country where it's sunny and they, they drive in cars with no roofs,. And they're smiling all the time. There's music and there's laughter, and there's just beautiful weather. To try to get back to quote-unquote, normal life will take decades.
