The term catharsis is the expunging of energy and an trama and negative feeling from the body and the mind. An stangroff, again, i think, beautifully, has this quote that describes that. The full expression of a negative emotion is the funeral pyre to that motion. I do think that eventually it would be interesting to see if psychodelic assisted pies can also be hepful for what we've called physical illness - not just mental or psychiatric illness.
