Humanity Was Not Created to Be Independent

Humanity was created to bear the image of God. The Hebrew word Selam, it means a reflection, a representative,. like an idol and a temple. And so humanity wasn't created with a separate identity. They weren't standalone creatures or creations like everything else that had been created before. By nature, humans were created to be in relationship with their creator.
