Is There a Connection Between Religion and Marriage?

When I was first exposed to what marriage was, it was very much about like you get married in church. So this idea that I had to get married in a church always felt strange and hard for me. In the book, I'm not religious. You know, I'm spiritual and I try to make that a very clear distinction that I think religion is wrapped up in a lot of rules. It's beautiful.
