The Role of Intersectionality in Violence Against Women of Color

This article has presented intersectionality as a way of framing the various interactions of race and gender in the context of violence against women of color. Most woke literature proceeds by producing an assertion, usually that conflates categories like class into race or makes presumptions about what's going on. If you challenge it, not only are you likely to be accused of being complicit in systems of racism and sexism, but you're also likely to be accuse of denying the significance of these unfortunate circumstances. They give you an unfortunate victim story and you're not allowed to deny the truth of what's being argued about that story because you will be accused of denying the injustice in the story.
