Each wind turbine cost at least 1 million euros without the setup cost. The actual turbine destroyed the ecosystem by not allowing pollination by bees as they cannot fly through. And obviously there are other environmental issues with the wind farms that are being talked about. Also interesting that the Greek activists themselves are not allowing authorities and officials onto the burned out land. They are insisting on forming reforestation groups to prevent any wind farm strategy from the authorities, both in Greece and in the EU.
