People that are judged to be more attractive generally have all sorts of boosts in so many domains of life. People make automatically inferences of attractiveness and it generally biases a lot of different kinds of behavior. There is certainly plenty of studies finding that your own learning history, your own social cultural background shapes your attractiveness preferences.
