Otho Nero Is an Interesting Case in the Roman Empire

Otho was a more light provincial general and he got passed over for being adopted as the next emperor. His reign is tied into the destruction of Jerusalem just a few years later. There's also another connection with Otho because we're told that of the beast seven heads one of them seemed to have a fatal wound and yet it lived, which could be a reference to Caligula who was assassinated by his own guards.
