The Importance of Album-Oriented Band Driven Music
This album was really about putting something together that sounded like what coming to one of our shows is like, at its core, you know, we're a band and it's band music. I really lean into that late 60s, 70s sound. The band oriented music is relatively rare in pop music at this moment. There's no bands on the Hot 100. That's interesting. No, they fly in and out. But at the moment, I didn't quick count. I was like, I don't think there was one. And how does it affect your creative process? It's an interesting thing.
