CHAPTER

How Do We Know What Is Good to Do?

You will know what is good to do if you do not reason it away. I'm indebted to a wise old friend, both old and years in association, of another faith who taught me to take an active interest in learning about the patterns in my life. Sometimes we won't know in advance. Sometimes in our lives we will wait on the Lord a long time. But we still need to ready ourselves. To be learning even though the specific opportunities to express what we're learning may not be as apparent or as exciting as we had hoped. We are teachable when we can trust in the Lord.
