For most of your life, you've worked on what I would characterize as easy problems. If the steps were straightforward and the idea had value, the thing would have already been done. The process then can't be predictable by definition. You're solving a hard problem, which means people don't know how to do it. And helping entrepreneurs build a system to solve hard problems is in itself a hard problem.
