Ambient mesh is agnostic to how the z tunnel captures traffic, and that will depend on what c and i you're using in the cubernetis cluster. We think it could make sense to take this secure overlay over time, and split it out into its own cani. There's no specific plans to do that right now, but there are some interesting use cases for that.
