The Role of the Central Executive in Driving
In driving let's say if someone is talking on the phone and they're driving which maybe they shouldn't be doing. The central executive is constantly switching between the two tasks. A good example of the role of the central executive is in driving. If you are mentally distracted by something complex then that reduces your ability to solve problems and to make judgments. So what neural networks are responsible for working memory? A great many. I've intentionally avoided this because I really don't know too much about the neuroanatomy. It may not be as well appreciated that it's not just where your eyes are, eyes on the road is helpful but if there's road work and the road becomes more narrow
