Why Reasoning Is Essential for Reasoning
In the book, you talk about some of the origins of that sort of pure rational thinking. And in the analogy to plato's chariot being pulled by two horses: one unruly andandsort a bit all over the place, and one which is of noble breeding. You actually say, perhaps a better way of thinking about the way we think is not to assume that there are two separate horses, but that it's sort of a bit more of a mongrel.
