Your First Experience With God Is Not One of Bouncy Self Confidence, but of Overwhelming Dread

The mark that you have really begun to see god is a sense of ruin. When the apostle john saw jesus in revelation, one says he fell at jesus feet as though he were dead and couldn't look at him. That's what this law does to us, if we see it correctly. If i saw flaming angels, i'd cover my face in front of them. And here's these guys coverng their faces in front of god, and the prophet of god falls on his face and says, woe is me, because i am ruined and undone.
