Getting Rid of the Responsibility of Taking Care of Your Child
If there's no easy way for you to get out of the responsibility of taking care of your child, well, then you're just going to neglect it. So having that free market just enables the people who want to get rid of the responsibility and those who want to have the responsibility to a trade. Because of individual subjective marginal values, that means it is a mutually beneficial exchange. Everyone who wants to sell gets to sell, and everyone who wants to buy gets to buy. Nobody is left out of the picture.
