The Future Literacy Framework

I entered this field through Real Miller's work at UNESCO, and that is the future literacy framework. So we still use his framework as an introduction into the capability. We start by exploring desirable and probable futures to understand what people's assumptions are. Then we propagate them with a reframe with an alternative scenario so they become aware of their blind spots and assumptions. That's a three step process. And then after that, there's another phase four that you can use to use those new questions, new ways of seeing for next steps, new decisions, etc. But now we are seeing we need to create sustainable learning ecosystems where they feel safe enough to practice continue to practice this thinking.
