Anna Karenna Is a Great Novelist

I find Tolstoy a ton more readable than Dostoevsky. Anna Karenna puts you in the kind of headspace of all three parties involved and I find that sort of thing really interesting. You can empathize with why they're feeling the way they are but also see self-deception and rationalization inside their little world.
