The Last Lecture - Is This Just a Thing?

In a book called The Last Lecture, Randy Cevallos tells a story about his sister. He says that when she told her kids to be careful with their new car, he opened a can of Coke and said it was just a thing. Now we'll look at this car for a second: Does it even matter if this car had a... from today's perspective? It's probably somewhere in the junkyard, I'm sure. But what's more important is the experience he had with his niece and nephew.
