What Happens During Migraines?
Migraines are caused by electrical depolarization at cell surfaces, also known as cortical spreading depression. Aura is neurological disturbances during the hour before the headache hits and effect about a third of sufferers. The effects of that can be different from person to person, different from attack to attack, different over time.
