The Theodysy of Nomic Regularity

Nomic regularity makes certain goods like biological life and moral choice possible. Some philosophers have argued that nomic regularity itself is a great good. However, with these goods comes the reality of animal suffering. So if god wants to see these goods manifested in reality, which he does, then he's got to allow suffering. Those are the two elements of the soul building theodysy. The second element is that suffering is necessary to shape our character toward the good.
