The way mineral sunscreens work are by reflecting, scattering, and even absorbing UV light. Chemical sunscreen help protect your skin by absorbing UV rays and dissipating that energy as heat. There really is very little excuse for someone to find the right sunscreen for them. The term chemical has developed a pre-negative connotation in today's environment.
