Think about it less as an off season and more as both a time for recovery and a time for the early base phase training weeks. If you're someone who doesn't have great sleep hygiene or you struggle getting the recommended number of hours of sleep that you know you need, now is the time to really work on those healthy habits. I think this is a much more productive and effective way of thinking about base training in the off season so that we can really focus on your improvement and your progress rather than your fitness declining over time.
