There's a set of companies working on the execution layer. And companies and teams know each other. They're familiar with how to get things done. Those teams have code bases that are in production that have been audited, tested for a while. So instead of us having to build the optimism execution layer massive code based technology, we can inherit the social structure and team structure and community of Etherum.
