Are Certain Trees More Sensitive to Temperature?

Each species of tree has a unique color that it goes that achieves in the fall. Some trees appear to cue in more on day length, you know starting in June the day start to get shorter and dogwoods always turn color really early. And then there's other species that make you a little bit in on on day length but they really sensitive to temperature like the maples. So if you get a warm year,. The dogwoods are going to cue in on day length and they're going to turn color no matter what. And then they’re going to be delayed. You start separating the species out by those that are temperature sent more temperature sensitive than those that are more daylight sensitive
