The Biggest Obstacle to Dealing With Climate Change
Climate science has been very clear for about forty, 50 years. So there is a big paradox as to why we do so little? We know more than enough about the climate system but up to recently, we didn't know so much about human response to climate scincs. They've all found similar answers, deep in our brains. Pasically, we're not perfect information processes. We're not perfectly rational. We can't pay attention to everything at the same time. And so since attention is such a scarce resource, we have to allocate it wisely.
