The Struggle to Conciliate a Non-Western History and Fine Art Background
As much as I'd love to be a painter of the high Dutch Renaissance, I am not. But I do love art from that time period. The skill involved is insane. And what I do with sort of like Renaissance imagery is I have students see sort of new ways of thinking in art. It did the nice piece this year of comparative art in the early modern era.
