The Differential Between Mono and Bacterial Pharyngitis

Lameres is a test for bacterial pharyngitis, group based strap group C strap, and the dreaded fusobacterium. The range of positivity increases from zero to one to two to three to four for all three of those bacteria. Then we always have to think about infectious mono, especially in the college age or high school age. And that's where posterior adenopathy might help you. But just because you do a mono test doesn't mean you can't think about them not having a bacteria.
