The Importance of Stimulus in Engineering

I was a little concerned reading this when we emphasized stimulus so much that we're just sort of pushing the problem, right? Because the whole feedback loop really only works when you're comparing that stimulus to some other referent. And there isn't a lot of discussion about where that comes from. So yeah, I think we'll have to look more at what he presents later in the book there in terms of specifying what he means.
