Is DeFi a Competitive Threat to FTX?
There's no central party that you should be regulating there. I mean, these front ends in their simplest form are just buttons. They're buttons but you can click to interact with software. And software is decentralized. So even if the US made a requirement that front ends for DeFi need to be licensed, what's going to happen isn't that all front ends become licensed. No one's going to build a DeFi front end in the United States. You're going to build it out of the United States and every American is just going to hop on a VPN. Look like they're from Chile and access it from there.
