A study of 1,147 North American participants found that fear and moral convictions related to preference for tyrannical leaders. Study looked at relationship between a person's fear of dangerous world,. and their propensity to adopt conservative or traditional moral values. And those values or morals or intuitions are also related to a preference for domineering leader.
