I Don't Think It's Going to Alter the Dynamics Among the Major Reserve Currencies
Asar yove has written extensively about china's aspirations to have its currency, the uan or renanb, become a major international reserve cards. Asar: "The measures they have to take to respond to that they set back that agenda" He says there are some changes on the ground that might increase the role of the reminb as an international payment currency - but i don't think it will fundamentally alter the dynamics among the major reserve currencies.
