Designing in the Public Realm
Most of our clients, and the focus of our work is public work. So i think we're starting to address some real issues of inclusion and how do we worry work in the public realm. How we accommodate our public spaces really says a lot about ourselves and about our environment. Every story you mention as ile has a place on your road side. What does that mean? Le moor lake or sommerville are both great places for storytelling. It's more than just design - it's an outcome of the design. We want people to feel like they can find their way around these cities. And so part of our job is to educate them through the elements of their environment.
