Most investors do and most human beings tend to overreact to shocks. The same thing happens in stock markets when they've been rewarded with something. If we're very happy at the moment, we tend to extrapolate that sense into the distant future. And if we're miserable,. we tend to think things are always going to be bad and so on. So this is the two things which we find in the human condition, very persistent, and to our way of thinking exploitable from the perspective of making money.
