George's Higher Mortgage Rates in the UK Are Getting More Attention
In the latest PMIs it did tick lower for the euro area and the UK but still above 50 in the expansion zones. It's highly exposed to services much less so it's manufacturing and that's possibly why sterling has outperformed against the euro over the past six to eight weeks. George: Why are economists consistently being surprised by inflation on the upside and also interest rates? I've always had is surely with growth in the dumps we're at nearly end of these rate hike and cycles?
