Bedou's Idea of History, the Universal History of Humanity

Bedou is saying we're pointing out all these individual events. And that's what we have to do with each of those individual events good or bad, they're going to introduce new possibilities. The act afterwards of reflecting on the failures internal and external and why it didn't work,. All those things contribute to our imaginative abstracting of the things from that event. It's a forward thinking utopian, it has that religious spin because people in this world today are very taken with spiritualism.
