The Challenges Faced by the Creation of a Global Community for Quantum Computing

There seems to be enthusiastic funding from governments and the world. The Dutch government just contributed 650 million to their project. Finland with VTTs work and Israel doing a lot of stuff. They all go towards it. A lot's going to depend on what the success rate is, both in terms of performance of the machines and encryption and sensors. And whether some of the very high valuations that we're seeing at the moment will turn out to be non-crazy.
