The Contradiction Between Tech and the Defense Sector

The more tech companies engage in projects like Maven that are just obviously not for the benefit of humanity, the more the cracks are starting to show. Silicon Valley really comes out of a military background in its inception. And so it seems to me that we're at a fairly important juncture here where it could really go either way.
