Sometimes you want to be very specific and exact with your order. There can be a misunderstanding, or maybe the waiter's busy and they get it wrong. You might have to say, this isn't what i ordered. But far more common to use the word order,. Or perhaps i ordered the steak, not the fish. Or i ordered the vegetarian burger, not the hamburger.
