Cerebral initiation, even if a spontaneous voluntary act can and usually does begin unconsciously. The brain makes us ready for action, then we have the experience of acting. And it ties in with how unreliable our memory is. We've all had the experience of thinking we remember something and it turning out to be false or fabricated or unreliable.
