Is This a First Fund in Ocean Based Technology?
A hundred million dollars is awesome as a start, but what we probably would really need to see coming out of this is more growth stage dollars. It's actually a tiny drop in the ocean, if I might say so. A name like Brian Halligan should be able to command a hundred million dollar fund in almost any category. We don't know who all is behind this, but he's surely well connected to a lot of potential LPs.
