The Voice of the Thunder Birds

i found unsubstantiated claims that at one stage bryan cobby may have been the person that did the voice over to the thunder birds five. The other voices included the guy who voiced the national lottery. And then a couple of others, but it wasn't the poet lauriate. Can i ask, did they like it because it sounded quite sexy? Is that what you were trying to get your brain out of the gos?
