Klamath Dam Rewalled
This dam rewalled down at Klamath is due to start in 2023. There's like a 2,200 acre footprint behind the dams that will remain. That is being restored with native vegetation and habitat enhancement. This project is part of a wider dam removal trend across America. In 2022 alone, 20 states tore down 65 dams which sounds like a lot of dams. So it's sort of like a little dam dropping the ocean.
